1. [+723, -27] Imagine if a foreigner came to Korea wearing 'Animal Kingdom' on their shirt (Korean animal show)
2. [+264, -6] You're basically paying an upcharge for the name and then advertising for them for free ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
3. [+242, -26] I don't get why anyone would wear this;; you're basically paying to advertise for someone ㅋㅋ
4. [+182, -23] It's pathetic because I doubt the people wearing them even know what channel 'National Geographic' is on, they just think it's fashionable because it looks American
5. [+28, -2] Imagine if you saw a foreigner wearing 'National Geographic Information Institute' in Korean on their shirt... ㅋㅋㅋ
6. [+25, -0] I wore this to a trip overseas and the hotel staff kept asking if I was on the film crew for work ㅡㅡ;;
7. [+33, -12] Well, everyone has their own style. I think it's pretty? Who cares what brand it is if it's comfy and pretty.
8. [+20, -9] Yeah, I don't get why people are wearing this
9. [+19, -8] I think it's pretty... The channel is about animal and nature protection so it has a positive image and the quality is actually really good. Doesn't stretch or wear out after many washes. I'm collecting more and more 'National Geographic' shirts and a lot of the people around me have given me compliments too.
10. [+11, -0] The brand these are being sold under have actually nothing to do with the 'National Geographic' channel. A company bought the image licensing for a hefty amount, and it is only being sold in Korea currently. After a few CF investments, it has now grown to become a huge fashion brand on its own. However, don't you consider this to be so sly? I'm sure the owners think of their marketing as a victory but this is a disgrace for the fashion industry.
11. [+10, -0] Basically the same as a foreigner wearing a KBS logo t-shirt ㅋㅋ I bet foreigners think this is funny. In context for us, it's like seeing foreigners with random Hangeul on their shirts...?
12. [+8, -0] This brand is only being sold in Korea so if you wear it overseas, foreigners are going to think you're a part of the film crew. A lot of them just assume you're staff.
