SBS claims B2ST and Highlight members were given celebrity perks in university

Article: 'News 8' reps, "Doojoon, Kikwang, Junhyung, and Hyunseung did not attend college lectures and graduated with full scholarships"

1. [+1,758, -84] I was under the impression that B2ST had a great image but who knew this stuff was behind that...

2. [+1,599, -86] Admission was fiction~ fiction~ graduation was fiction~ fiction

3. [+1,568, -76] They got full rides without even attending classes? ㅋㅋ What a perk~

4. [+104, -11] Insanity... please stop giving celebrities perks

5. [+94, -11] Now that's a big scandal..

6. [+93, -10] Dongshin University has so little students that they give out scholarships to just about anyone ㅋㅋ Celebrities get a lot of perks when they go to small name schools like this since they're basically promoting a school that's on the verge of shut down. If this is considered "controversial", then other idols form bigger agencies should be dragged down with them. I don't get why their names had to be mentioned at all?? ㅎㅎ

7. [+86, -38] Dongshin University reps already put out news in 2011 that they gave them scholarships. The media should be asking their former agency Cube how that was handled, not their new agency. The scholarship that the members were given was also a special scholarship for their department that had nothing to do with attending classes or not. You basically get one for being a celebrity. There's nothing secretive about it. The school gave it to them first and even put out news about it before so why is it in the news again now?

8. [+75, -6] So is this how they've been postponing the army so far?

9. [+63, -6] But what college doesn't do this? My college had a Shinhwa member but they never came to class even once. Only came for festivals and stuff.

10. [+55, -3] This isn't an issue of celebrity perks. The college itself gave out scholarships to celebrities or other special professions who don't have the time to attend classes. They basically gave out free scholarships and graduation diplomas because they needed to fill a quota of students in order to get approved by the government...

1. [+1,113, -214] This is a school that's known for giving out scholarships even if you're not a celebrity... This really isn't a matter of perks.

2. [+832, -85] Well it's true in the end... they were given full rides even without the grades for it. Other students were affected by that! Just handle it by the law.

3. [+604, -46] Hul...

4. [+60, -4] It's a college that anyone can get into if you pay... B2ST was probably admitted as promotional models and they were paid their promotional fees in the form of scholarships.

5. [+55, -7] No one cares about no name schools like this... I'm just amazed that all of B2ST wanted to go to a school like this at all

6. [+45, -0] Well the school's in Najoo... impossible for most idols to commute back and forth

7. [+39, -1] I remember this college because some kid in my high school who couldn't study for sh*t got a scholarship to go ㅋㅋ

8. [+39, -5] It's a private school that anyone can get into just for writing their name down, not a big deal

Article: Doojoon, Junhyung, Kikwang reps, "NOT admitted unfairly... they attended tests, classes, and events"

1. [+433, -72] There's no issue in regards to their scholarship because the deal was that they'd be admitted as promotional models and they'd be given a four year ride in payment of that. Cube and Dongshin made a deal back then which is why all of Cube's artists go to Dongshin for university. The members didn't go to this school because they wanted to. Please stop putting false news in the media without checking both facts.

2. [+356, -44] Why would the media just put this stuff in the news without checking with their agency first?

3. [+260, -37] Image is everything to a celebrity, how can the media just put out something like this and potentially ruin everything they've worked for?

4. [+28, -16] SBS putting random stuff out in the news without fact checking ㅋㅋㅋ

5. [+22, -5] As if any celebrity would want to falsify their way into a sh*tty school like that anyway ㅋㅋㅋ
