1. [+515, -11] Every dream is worthy but we live in an ironic world where the more people dream the same dream, the less worthy that dream becomes. Not only to idols but to everyone in general, luck becomes more important than actual talent or skill. Congratulations on your debut, and I hope that you understand that even if you fail as an idol, it does not mean your life itself is a failure! I think it's refreshing to spotlight the tumultuous path to becoming an idol like this.
2. [+101, -6] It's an industry that's make or break... You hit daebak if you can make it through the thousands of competitions or else you're stuck working part-time jobs for the rest of your life because you spent your junior and high school education on training instead of learning. The repercussions follow you for life.
3. [+53, -1] It's not a problem exclusive to our country. Europe or the US... it's so hard for one singer to ever make it. Our country has a lot of trainees which makes it harder to debut unless you're super unique with a special skill...
4. [+48, -1] It's not that different for any other job. The majority aren't making all that much money other than the ones at the top~ It's the same everywhere else so find strength.
5. [+33, -2] I'm just so tired of girl groups, idols... They're all the same, the only difference being member numbers. Same dance, same outfits, same looks, same lip syncing, same concepts. At least singers from the 80s and 90s had singing skills and something that made them unique. Nowadays, everyone looks like factory punch outs. It's depressing to think that so many of our youth are dreaming of something so worthless.
6. [+18, -0] A success of an idol's debut is 80-90% on the agency... Any trainee under a famous agency is basically guaranteed a fandom, and TV shows are already fighting to cast them just for the brand name of their agency.
7. [+19, -2] I'm tired of articles like this that make it seem as if idols are the only ones facing tough competition. Grow up and look at the real world. We're all fighting competitions.
8. [+17, -0] Life is the same everywhere else, not just for idols. You dream, you work hard, you fall, you get back up... You focus on industry you chose, you go through the ups and downs, and build experience and expertise in the process... I think figuring what you want to do in life at such a young age is a blessing too. Find strength, and I hope people live a beautiful life irregardless of success or failure~!
9. [+16, -0] I wonder how much she worked hard, how much she suffered... she put her whole life on the line for this.. I support her
10. [+15, -0] I feel bad for her. I wish her success! Fighting!
11. [+14, -1] She's only 20 years old.. she'll have plenty of more opportunities in the future. There are so many singers who have been waiting for their chance for over 20 years already.
12. [+11, -0] Find strength. Achieving a dream is a difficult feat for anybody.
