1. [+1,383, -263] I don't see how this comparison works because the hanboks are two different things... Black Pink reinterpreted the hanbok to match their song while in Miss Korea, they got rid of the swimsuit competition and started dressing in hanboks as if they were replacing the swimsuit competition with it, which was controversial in itself.
2. [+951, -64] The Miss Korea hanboks are basically lingerie, is this some joke?
3. [+409, -62] I'm not a Black Pink fan but their hanbok looks like it was tailored to look like they're about to perform traditional outdoor play... while the Miss Korea hanboks look like they took the traditional look of a hanbok and then stripped it to sexualize themselves, which makes me uncomfortable.
4. [+378, -66] They're completely different things. One side reinterpreted the hanbok while the other side basically turned it into lingerie or corset. There's no comparison to be had here. Miss Korea itself is a controversial competition and the hanbok styles they wore had completely different intentions to Black Pink's.
5. [+319, -32] You can tell just by the pictures that the hanboks are different from what the Miss Korea contestants wore. The Miss Korea ones are embarrassing to look at. I found Black Pink's to be pretty.
6. [+116, -4] This is my first time seeing either version and Black Pink's looks like a copy of a hanbok while MIss Korea's looks like a copy of lingerie.
7. [+82, -1] You can still find elements of a traditional hanbok in what Black Pink is wearing but the Miss Korea hanboks are basically lingerie with no traces of hanbok in it at all. It doesn't feel fair to compare the two cases.
8. [+36, -1] The Miss Korea hanboks... are so bad. They actually make Black Pink look innocent. I don't get how you can wear something like that to an event, jeez.
